What a great way to wrap up an incredible week with Iowa Baseball Camp for the Deaf and the Iowa Cubs!
On Friday morning, our team joined the campers at Principal Park, home of the Iowa Cubs, for a private behind-the-scenes stadium tour. Together, we explored the press box, dugouts, clubhouse, and more before heading onto the field for pickup games with the campers.
The morning concluded with IBCD’s annual end-of-week pizza party, where campers, families, volunteers, and our team came together to celebrate an unforgettable week of baseball, Deaf culture, and community.
It was truly an honor and privilege to be part of this special tradition. Thank you to IBCD and the Iowa Cubs for making this experience possible. We hope to see everyone again soon!
