Iowa Game 3: USA Deaf Baseball 10, Mid-Iowa 40+ 3

USA Deaf Baseball closed out the day with another impressive win, defeating Mid-Iowa 40+ by a score of 10-3.

Team USA broke the game open in the third inning as Darren Drolsbaugh drew a bases-loaded walk before Carl Upton delivered a two-run single. The offense added five more runs in the sixth inning, highlighted by William Chapman’s three-run single.

Nathan Rudik got the start on the mound, striking out six over four solid innings, while Austin Altman earned the win in relief after allowing no earned runs and striking out three. Mitchell Bensman also pitched in relief to help secure the victory.

Curt Anderson led the offense with two hits, while Chapman and Carl Upton each drove in multiple runs. Ben Daniel showed great patience at the plate, drawing three walks as USA wrapped up the day with its second win.
