What an unforgettable night at ASL Night with the Iowa Cubs!
Our team was honored to be recognized on the field before the game and to connect with so many members of Iowa’s Deaf community. Several of our players joined campers from Iowa Baseball Camp for the Deaf to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, then watched with pride as the campers signed the National Anthem and “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.”
To make the night even more special, the Iowa Cubs wore their ASL jerseys, designed by our own Visual Media Coordinator and Iowa Cubs team photographer, Dylan Heuer.
It was a memorable evening celebrating Deaf culture, baseball, and community. A huge thank you to the Iowa Cubs for helping make this special event possible. We are incredibly grateful for your support!
